The first step of the evening routine of a German countryside girl is to go on a calming walk into the Bavarian forests of course. I love to do that before it gets dark and when I come back, I prepare myself a lovely hot drink like tea or golden milk. What follows is a cooking session with Michael, we talk about our day and what else we want to share. After dinner it’s important for me to switch of the WIFI on my phone, because I want to reduce my screen time. As we have an online semester at the moment, my screen time is too high and I also spend too much time on my phone. As I don’t watch TV or hang around on social media, I love reading a book, journaling or stretching and doing some easy yoga exercises. As I’m not that strict on routines, I don’t do all these things everyday – just when I need it or when I time and want to do it.
