I’m a curious girl who loves food, travel, and adventure!
I spend my childhood in Colombia where I was born, and I grew up in NYC where I attended film school and graduated with outstanding achievement at the School of Visual Arts. I currently live in Los Angeles.
Inspired by life in coastal Spain, I opened a restaurant in the lower east side (2011), It was a Barcelona style eatery named “BIKINIS” (after the pressed ham and cheese sandwich). There I had the opportunity to learn much about food and the intricacies of owning a restaurant. It was an empowering experience and it gave me a strong foundation to continue my filmmaking work.
I had worked as a producer/host prior to the restaurant experience on a network called Current TV and I truly love the art of gastronomy and cooking of course. I went to travel the world and continue developing my storytelling skills while learning about food in other cultures. After one year of gastronomic travels through South East Asia and Europe, I landed back in Colombia, the country where I was born. Happy and excited to discover my roots, I accepted a job as a Food and Travel TV host on Canal 13, called “Sabor USA” which featured the roots and culture of the two places I come from.
