From a proof of concept/teaser we made for the comedy feature film “Pussywhipped.” Written by Mary Birdsong & Molly Hale, based on Laura Bell Bundy’s original character, “Aim-è Throughstreet.” Bundy is attached to star, and Steve Pink is attached to direct. It features several kick-ass original pop songs written and recorded by Laura Bell Bundy.
Pussywhipped tells the story of a washed-up, burnt-out, ex-child star named Aim-è Throughstreet, once the lead singer of the number one (squeaky clean, Disney-esque) girl group, “Whipped Cream.”
A morally bankrupt, cellularly exhausted, & biologically toxic Aim-è is now thirty-something years old, a complete footnote of the nineties— a nobody. But in her pretty little head, she’s still super-famous and hawt. After running her recording career into the ground, Aim-è is now totally controlled by her domineering, culturally out-of-tune “momager” (half manager + half mom), Babs. But when a terrible car accident nearly kills Aim-è, she has a spiritual awakening, realizing she nearly died before achieving Kardashian-level fame.
Add to the mix a rare heart condition that lea kill goes on a mission to reunite the girl group that launched her career.
That little restraining order won’t be an issue at all.
