Director’s Statement
As a writer/director, I’ve been asking myself this question, “what if a character that I created came to find me?”. What would he say? what would he like to change or what would he keep the same?
I was looking for an answer to this peculiar question while I was writing the script. What if the main character of a script was never able to get what he wants? gets out of control, figures out a way to get out of the “scripted” world and finds his Writer to change his destiny and seeks revenge for being tortured in a dark comedy.
I thought of this in the sense that characters cannot reach their creators just like we as human beings cannot reach God. What if it becomes possible before we die, can we change our destiny by coming face to face with God? Or in other words, would fiction characters be able to get what they want by reaching the author?
