I’m painting a Belarusian flag on my body, listening and murmuring to Polonez Oginskogo (‘Saying goodbye to the motherland », written on the Belorussian territory by Michal Oginsky escaping Russian troops crashing the Kostushco’s riot, was considered as a national anthem of Belarus). I did it partially because people always notice boobs, but don’t notice horrible events in Belarus right now. I’ve literally seen zero solidarity from the UK institutions and people to this case, when the whole country turned into a concentration camp, people are injured in thousands and not many institutions abroad give a shit. Everyone notice problems in the USA or France, no one cares about Belarus who does also require solidarity, material help and support. If body is required for a problem to be noticed – as only when FEMEN shown boobs someone noticed problems (or merely an existence) of Ukraine – here is it. I’m not a conventionally beautiful girl, but I have some boobs too. If we don’t have anything but body to show solidarity – here is it.
I think this matter requires same coverage as BLM.
