A student film that makes fun of student films. This updated version of my 1979 short film was an homage to Alfred Hitchcock and it takes a few swipes at the stereotypical student film…you know; the ones that always had a chase scene, a dream sequence and/or a girl with a knife. I wrote, directed and co-edited it while I was studying filmmaking at Emerson College and 30 years later, it was the winner of the 2009 Classic Telly Award. It was originally shown at the Emerson Comedy Workshop in 1980 and was in several local film festivals in Boston. It stars my good friend and fellow film student, Rick Kennedy, who passed away too soon on February 3, 2016.
